Jeremy Buss featured in Local Gallery
HARTINGTON — Cedar County News and Laurel Advocate photographer Jeremy Buss is featured July and August in the Arlo & Anne Wirth Art Gallery.
The gallery is located on the second floor of the Hartington Public Library in donwtown Hartington and is open to the public. There is no charge to visit the facility.
Buss, a Pierce native, is a 1994 graduate of Pierce High School and a 1998 Wayne State College graduate.
He has worked at the Cedar County News, and Laurel Advocate since 2001. His work has also been published by the Randolph Times, Coleridge Blade, Wausa Gazette, Norfolk Daily News, the Wayne Herald, the Associated Press and Nebraska Life Magazine.
He has won several Nebraska Press Association photography awards for the Cedar County News, Randolph Times and Laurel Advocate.
He shoots weekly sports, news and feature photos for the six Northeast Neb. News Company newspapers.
He has photographed everything from eagles to weddings to the Nebraska Cornhuskers.
Many of the photos that have appeared on the pages of the Advocate are featured in full color in this art display.
Buss graduated from Wayne State College with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Communications in 1998.
His interest in photography bloomed in elementary school when he was involved in 4-H.
The gallery is open to the public. There is no admission charge.
