Harold and Janice Loberg
Lobergs to celebrate 50th anniversary
CARROLL — Harold and Janice Loberg, Carroll, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary Aug. 4, with a private family gathering. Their children are requesting a card shower in their honor.
The couple was married Aug. 4, 1956, at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church, Carroll. Harold owns and operates a construction business and Janice was employed 20 years at Dale Electronics, Norfolk.
They have six children, Kimberly Doffin, Hoskins; Kirk Loberg, Omaha; Kathy Loberg, San Jose Calif.; Kris Loberg, San Fransisco, Calif.; Kary and Tammy Loberg, Dakota City; and Koby Loberg and his fiancée, Laura Forsen, Norfolk. They also have eleven grandchildren and a great-granddaughter.
Lobergs have lived in Carroll since January 1960.

Mr. and Mrs. Harrison Huwaldt
Couple to celebrate 70th anniversary
RANDOLPH — Harrison and Varedo Huwaldt will celebrate their 70th wedding anniversary and 90th birthdays with an open house and buffet Aug. 6, at the Randolph City Auditorium, from 1:30-5 p.m.
Harrison Huwaldt and Varedo Raubach were married June 21, 1936, in Pierce.
The event will be hosted by their children, Sharon and her husband, Charles Feinstein, New York, N.Y.; Michael and his wife, Kathy Huwaldt, Denver, Colo.; and Sue and her husband, Ed Ubben, Lincoln.
The couple has six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Harrison and Varedo have spent their entire married life in Randolph. Harrison owned and operated several businesses before retiring. Varedo was active in her church and community activities. Upon retiring, they spent many years traveling and golfing throughout the United States.
Sheri Loecker and Tyler Goeken

The bride is a 2002 graduate of Crofton High School. This August, she will be graduating from Avera Sacred Heart School of Radiologic Technology with a bachelor of science degree and certificate of radiology. She is currently employed at the Vermillion Medical Clinic, Vermillion, S.D.
The groom is a 2001 graduate of Wynot High School. He is currently employed at Doyle Stevens' Construction, Crofton.
The couple is planning a Sept. 9, 2006, wedding at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Fordyce.

Springfield, S.D. — Nicole Rae Jelsma and Eric John Pinkelman annouce their upcoming wedding Aug. 12, 2006, at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Bow Valley.
Parents of the bride are Russell and Elizabeth Jelsma, Springfield, S.D. Parents of the groom are Richard and Mary Rose Pinkelman, Wynot.
Nicole Rae graduated from Bon Homme High School in 1998. She is currently employed as the financial manager at The Family Chiropractic Foundation.
Eric John graduated from Cedar Catholic High School in 1999. He is currently employed as a mechanic at the Wynot Farm Store.
A wedding dance will be held at the Bow Valley Dance Hall starting at 8 p.m.

Jansen, Loberg to wed in August
CARROLL — Heather Jean Jansen and Joshua Paul Loberg, both of Carroll, wish to announce their engagement and upcoming wedding.
Heather is the daughter of Shorty and Jan Jansen, Coleridge. She is a 2003 graduate of Coleridge Community Schools and is currently employed by Whole Hog Health Center, Hartington.
Heather is the granddaughter of Marvin and Bertha Ann Jansen, Madison, and Marlyn and Laurita Nitz, Pierce.
Josh is the son of Julie Loberg, Randolph, and the late Dale Loberg. He is a 2000 graduate of Randolph High School and is employed by Billerbeck Construction, Randolph.
Josh's grandparents are Marlyn and Marge Kruse and Vernon and Beverly Loberg, all of Randolph.
The couple is planning an Aug. 26, 2006, wedding at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Coleridge.

Sudbeck, Heydon announce September wedding
EAGLE — Bob and Diane Heydon, Eagle, would like to announce the engagement and upcoming wedding of their daughter, Cassie, to Monte Sudbeck, son of Bob and Karla Sudbeck, Fordyce.
Cassie earned a bachelor of arts degree in psychology from the University of Nebraska, Lincoln. She is a paralegal for Nelnet, Denver, Colo,, and also volunteers as a child rights advocate for Denver CASA.
Monte earned an associateís degree in land surveying/civil engineering technology at Southeast Community College, Milford, and is currently employed by Sellards and Grigg Engineering, Denver.
The wedding will take place Sept. 2, 2006, at St. Johnís Catholic Church, Lincoln.
