Mike Hamilton
Mike Hamilton, 76, was born Feb. 16, 1930, in Dixon County, to Joseph and Victoria Klein Hamilton, and graduated from Holy Trinity High School in 1947.
Mike was a veteran of the U.S. Army where he served his country honorably as an infantry officer.
He was a mathematician at White Sands Missile Range Proving Ground, a physical scientist at White Sands Missile Range and the chief engineer of the electrical branch for NASA.
He was a volunteer math tutor, a volunteer at the Community of Hope, a laborer for Habitat for Humanity and a volunteer driver for Meals on Wheels for Dona Ana County.
He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Lois Hamilton; five children, Pat, Bill, Mark, Vicki and Jerry and their spouses, Cheryl, Caren, Paulette, Mohammad and Catherine; ten grandchildren, Kristin, John, Andrea, Jenny, Garrett, Abe, Sam, Malia, Lisa and Michael; and his sister, Margaret Riter.
Mike was preceded in death by his son, Phillip, and two brothers, Pat and Lloyd.
