Ina Rieth
Wayne — Ina Rieth, 96, Wayne, formerly of Concord, died Feb. 6, 2007, at the Stanton Health Center, Stanton.
Visitation was Feb. 9 at Hasemann-Schumacher Funeral Home, Wayne
Services were Feb. 10 at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Concord, with Rev. William Bertrand officiating.
Pallbearers were Matthew Benson, Alan Stark, Ed Fletcher, Thomas Fletcher, Doug Stanwick, Doug Karnes and Gregory Denesia.
Interment was in Concord Cemetery, Concord.
Ina Lydia Rieth was born May 13, 1910, on the family farm east of Concord, to Harry and Julia (Batten) Karnes. She married Edward Fletcher Jan. 21, 1929. Edward died February 18, 1944. Ina married William Rieth Jan. 11, 1945, at St. Paul Lutheran Church, rural Concord. The couple farmed for 11 years on the home farm east of Concord before moving into town. She helped when needed at the Concord Cafe and was a grocery clerk at Fleer’s Grocery Store, Laurel
Ina belonged to a number of women’s organizations and extension clubs and was a life-long member of St. Paul Lutheran Ladies Aid. She also taught Sunday school. She attended Grace Lutheran Church, Wayne.
Ina enjoyed going to the Concord Senior Citizen’s Center.
Ina is survived by one son and wife, Gene and Shirley Fletcher, Wayne; two daughters, Dona Denesia, Harbor City, Calif., and Julie and her husband, Vaughn Benson, Walthill; eight grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; nine great-great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
 Ina was preceded in death by her parents; two husbands, Edward in 1944, and William, in 1990; one granddaughter, Teresa Fletcher; and four brothers.
