Frank A. Reineke
Randolph — Frank A. Reineke, 94, Randolph, died May 4, 2007, at Osmond General Hospital, Osmond.
Visitation and a rosary were May 7 at St. Jane Frances deChantal Catholic Church, Randolph.
Funeral Services were May 8 at St. Jane Frances deChantal Catholic Church, with Rev. Ron Battiato officiating.
Interment was in St. Jane Frances deChantal Catholic Cemetery, Randolph.
Pallbearers were his “sons,” Ervin Reineke, Kenneth Reineke, Melvin Reineke, Gerald Reineke, Gary Reineke and Patrick Reineke
Arrangements were under the direction of Stonacek Memorial Chapel, Osmond.
Frank was born Nov. 16, 1912, in Randolph, to Fred and Barbara (Straub) Reineke. He attended St. Frances Catholic School and McLean Public School. He married Violetta Kalvelage Jan. 21, 1936, St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Osmond. After they were married, the couple farmed in the McLean area. They retired in 1975 and moved to Randolph.
He was a member of St. Jane Frances deChantal Catholic Church, Randolph.
Survivors include his wife, Violetta Reineke, Randolph; nine children and spouses, Margaret and Dale Lewondowski, Loup City; Marcella and Neil Bloomquist, McLean; Ervin and Dinah Reineke, Omaha; Kenneth and Nancy Reineke, Randolph; Melvin and Diane Reineke, Hastings; Marilyn and Don Von Rentzell, Waverly; Gerald and Diane Reineke, Hastings; Gary and Mary Reineke, Sioux Falls, S.D.; Patrick Reineke and Brenda Becker, Hartington; 43 grandchildren; 58 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers, John, Tony, Fred and George; five sisters, Elizabeth, Veronica, Louisa, Ann and Elvina; and an infant son, Francis.
