Dale L. Miller
Lincoln — Dale L. Miller, 77, Lincoln, died April 5, 2007.
Funeral Services were April 10 at Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home, Lincoln.
Interment was at Lincoln Memorial Park.
Dale was born Nov. 27, 1929, in Wayne, to Lloyd and Elsie (Hefti) Miller. He grew up in Laurel and farmed near Winside for 12 years before moving to Norfolk to work as a meat cutter. He then went to work for Wittigs Super Value, Wayne. Dale then moved to Winside and purchased Troutman’s Market, operating it for 12 years as Miller’s Market. He then retired and moved to Lincoln. Dale married Díorsay Herold Jan. 21, 1951, in Coleridge.
The was a member of The Church, Lincoln, were he was an elder.
He enjoyed horses and knife sharpening.
Survivors include his wife, Díorsay, Lincoln; sons and daughter-in-law, Randal, Lincoln, and Galon and Debra, Eden Prairie, Minn.; and grandchildren, Susannah, Julia, Micah, Joannah, Amy, David, Daniel, Allison.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters.
