Antonia "Tonie" K. Mannion
Randolph — Antonia “Toni” K. Mannion, 93, Randolph, died April 23, 2007, at Colonial Manor Nursing Home, Randolph.

Visitation, with a Christian Mothers Rosary and a Parish rosary were April 26 at St. Frances Catholic Church, Randolph. Johnson Funeral Home, Randolph, was in charge of arrangements.

Funeral Services were April 27 at St. Frances Catholic Church, with Rev. Ron Battiato, officiating and Rev. David Korth as con-celebrant.

Interment was at St. Frances Catholic Cemetery, Randolph.

Pallbearers were “Toni’s” sons, Joe Mannion, Dennis Mannion, Gerald Mannion, Tom Mannion, Dave Mannion, Steve Mannion and Ray Mannion.
Honorary pallbearers were all of Toni’s grandchildren.
Toni was born Dec. 20, 1913, at Hartington, to Joseph and Helen (Kaiser) Brandl. She graduated from Holy Trinity Catholic High School, Hartington, in 1932, and attended Wayne State College, where she earned her teaching certificate and taught school at a Cedar County rural school east of Hartington.
Antonia married Paul V. Mannion July 6, 1938, at St. Michael’s Catholic Church, Coleridge. The couple farmed near Hartington and Coleridge, until March 1, 1954, when they moved to farm near Randolph. In 1991, the couple moved in to Randolph. They celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary in 1993. Antonia entered Colonial Manor Nursing Home, Randolph, in 2005.
Her hobbies include rosary making, quilting, square dancing, gardening and baking.
She was a member of St. Frances Catholic Church, Randolph; Parish Council of Catholic Women; Christian Mothers; and taught C.C.D. at St. Frances for many years.
Survivors include Toni’s 12 children and spouses, Paul Joe and Amanda Mannion, Kansas City, Mo.; Dennis and Fran Mannion, Melbourne, Fla.; Gerald and Norma Jean Mannion, Huntington Beach, Calif.; Mary and Don Duffy, O’Neill; Kathy and Rich Sullivan, Norfolk; Tom Mannion and Jane Mannion, Highland, Ill.; Colleen and Michael Rhoades, Kansas City, Mo.; David and Louise Mannion, St. Louis, Mo.; Vicki and Pat Conway, Hartley, Iowa; Steve and Elizabeth Mannion, Austin, Texas; Ray and Lisa Mannion, Raleigh, N.C.; and Debbie and Mike Campbell, Kansas City, Mo.; 38 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; one brother and wife, Jack and Mary Ann Brandl, Coleridge; three siters and spouses, Adeline and Dick Freeman, Santa Barbara, Calif.; Rosalie Gardner, Sunnyvale, Calif.; and Bette Paulson, Norfolk.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Paul, 1995; one son, John F., 1971; two grandchildren, Ryan Mannion and David Duffy; two brothers, Al and Joe; four sisters, Theresa, Irene, Madeline and Marie.
