Agnes A. Hansen
Coleridge — Agnes A. Hansen, 94, Coleridge, died June 6, 2007, at Hillcrest Care Center, Laurel.
Visitation, with a prayer service and video tribute, were June 7 at the Wintz Funeral Home, Coleridge.
Funeral Services were June 8 at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Coleridge, with the Rev. Andreas Stein officiating.
Burial was at Lawn Ridge Cemetery, Coleridge.
Pallbearers were Darin and Deitra Hoesing, Brian and Stephanie Lange, and Chris and Amy Hansen.
Agnes Anna Hansen was born Nov. 19, 1912, in Wayne County to Otto and Christine (Jacobsen) Krei. She grew up in the Laurel area and married Charles Hansen March 4, 1937, in Laurel. Agnes and Charles farmed east of Coleridge for 49 years prior to moving into Coleridge in 1992. Charles died July 3, 2001, at the age of 88. Agnes has been a resident of Hillcrest Care Center since May 2005.
Agnes was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, the Ladies Circle, of which she held various offices, Bible Study, and the Happy Valley Club.
She is survived by her two sons and their spouses, Fred and Paula Hansen, Coleridge, and Jim and Jan Hansen, Coleridge; three grandchildren and spouses, Deitra and Darin Hoesing, Coleridge; Stephanie and Brian Lange, Hartington; and Chris and Amy Hansen, Hartington; seven great-grandchildren; one sister, Florence, and her husband, Bob Hansen, Coleridge; and one sister-in-law, Margaret Krie, Laurel.
Preceding Agnes in death were her parents; husband, Charles; three brothers, Orphious, Gilbert and Alvin Krei; two sisters-in-law, Helen Krei and Alma Krei; and one brother-in-law, Glen Hansen.
