Anna Boysen
Laurel — Anna Boysen, 91, Laurel, died May 26, 2007, at Sunrise Retirement community, Sioux City, Iowa.
 Visitation was May 28 at the Evangelical Free Church, Concord, followed by the funeral services with Rev. Ken Wilson and Rev. Sharon Boysen officiating.
Pallbearers were Anna’s grandchildren
Interment was in the Laurel Cemetery. 
Arrangements were under the direction of Hasemann-Schumacher Funeral Home, Laurel.
Anna Freada Boysen was born Jan. 9, 1916, at Cornlea, to Arthur and Ruth (Degaillez) Johnson. She lived in the Blair area until her marriage to Boyd Boysen July 12, 1936, at Blair. The couple farmed south of Laurel, moved to California, and then returned to the home farm near Laurel in 1938. They moved into Laurel in 1979. Anna moved to the Sunrise Retirement Manor in 2001. Anna and Boyd celebrated 58 years of marriage.
 Anna is survived by her children and their spouses, Peggy Hopp, Moville, Iowa; Milton and Sharon Boysen, Allen; Milo and Gwen Boysen, Topeka, Kan.; and Linda and Darl Schufeldt, Omaha; 14 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; one brother, Leroy Johnson, Omaha; two sisters, Marilyn and her husband, Harold Christopher, Stanwood, Wash.; and Judy Larsen, Inman, Kan.; and several nieces and nephews.
Anna was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Boyd, in 1994; 14-year-old brother; son-in-law, Harold Hopp; and a brother-in-law, John Larsen.
